ABOUT ME: Sharing my passion and my love for photography with you is a dream come true!  I am so excited to be hosting and teaching photography workshops and private photography lessons to those who are eager to learn how take great portraits. Beginning Photography Workshops and Natural Light Portrait Photography Workshops this year! My journey as a photographer started when my dad bought me a camera when I was 15. I became the family photographer photographing during our fun vacations. I took photography 101 in high school and that is when I knew I wanted to continue my learning. After traveling abroad and living in San Francisco, for a year, I enrolled in Brooks Institute of Photography, in Santa Barbara, CA to pursue my dream of becoming a professional photographer.  I graduated from Brooks Institute of Photography in 2002 earning a Bachelor of Arts and have been working as a professional photographer ever since.  I specialize in weddings, engagements, and portraits. I have also photographed products for global brands. I am excited to share in the above gallery the my Styled Shoot that was published in  Reverie Gallery and Borrowed and Blue

  • FIELD GUIDE TO PHOTOGRAPHY: A SANTA BARBARA PHOTOGRAPHY WALK ABOUT

This 90 minute Photography Tour takes place in Santa Barbara, CA. You will learn the basics of camera settings (aperture, shutter speed, and ISO), depth of field, natural lighting (shade vs. full sun) and composition techniques. This interactive photography walking tour is created with a hands-on approach allowing tourists, learners, and photography enthusiasts an opportunities to immediately practice the photography techniques learned. This photography walking tour will help you to establish a basic foundation while taking breadth taking photographs.

This interactive workshop is created with a hands-on approach allowing for opportunities to immediately practice the photography techniques learned. This workshop will help you to establish a basic foundation and give you great exposure (pun intended) to beginning photography so you can feel confident about creating beautiful images on your own.   • NATURAL LIGHT PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP

This three-hour Natural Light Portrait Photography Workshop is located in Santa Barbara, CA. In the Natural Light Portrait workshop we will go over the following: composition, different qualities of light (full sun vs shade), posing techniques, different types of camera lenses, and styles of portraiture (candid and traditional).  The last two hours you will have an opportunity to practice what you learned with our models using multiple lighting techniques and backgrounds. This workshop will take you to the next level of photography giving you the opportunity to learn to take beautiful photographs in natural light.
